What is the deadline for signing up for camp?
You can sign up as long as there is space available. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to be officially registered for camp, we must receive your Registration Online.
What are the check-in and check-out times at camp?
Check-in: promptly at 8:30 am, Monday - Friday.
Check-out: Half day camp ends at 12:30 pm every day after lunch. Pick up for half day campers will be at the Cafe. Check-out for full day campers is 4:30 pm every day at Lower Putting Green.
We require a signature from an authorized adult every day at check-out.
What should I wear to camp?
Golf attire is recommended. No denim or sweat pants, please! Collard golf shirts and golf shorts, as well as comfortable golf or tennis shoes, are preferred All campers are also strongly recommended to have a hat for sun protection.
Do I need to bring my own clubs?
Golf equipment will be provided for all Green Level Camps. Silver Level Camps student are expected to have a 7- Club Set, Including: A Driver, Hybrid, Mid Iron, Short Iron, Pitching and Sand Wedge. If needed you can contact the Pro Shop to order a U.S. Kids Golf Set prior to camp. Individual clubs are available for order as well. You will need to know the height of your camper in Inches for proper fitting. Golf club sets sell out quickly so we recommend placing your order at least 2 weeks prior to the start of your camp.
Do I need to bring a lunch?
All campers will be provided with a hot lunch daily, Snacks are to be brought by students and can be eaten through out the day. Full-day campers should pack enough snacks for later in the afternoon.
What is the daily curriculum?
The daily curriculum is designed to offer the perfect balance of fun and learning. Each activity helps players develop fundamentals in all areas of the game: putting, pitching, bunker shots, and full swing shots. We also emphasize USGA Rules, Etiquette, and Saftey. Before long, players will find themselves improving.
What is your instructor to student ratio?
To ensure quality instruction and more importantly for the safety of each student, our ratio is one instructor or coach for every 6 students. The instructor to student ratio may change depending on the age group and skill level of the students.
How are campers grouped?
Campers are divided into groups according to age and skill level. The group will remain together the entire week and rotate daily through the short game, putting, full swing. Full day campers will be grouped according to skill level when playing on the golf course.
Can my child join his/her sibling/friend in an older/younger age group?
As our curriculum and activities are designed specifically for each skill level, we strongly discourage group hopping. Campers can join their friends who are in a different skill group during snack break and lunch.
Can my camper be grouped with friends at camp?
Absolutely. Simply coordinate your dates and submit your request on our online registration form.
What safety system do you have?
Aces Junior Golf Staff will teach children how to practice, play and have fun safely. Safety guidelines are discussed with students on the first day of camp and are reviewed daily. Each day lessons are conducted with an emphasis on SAFETY FIRST. We have each child’s emergency contact information on site at all times. We consider safety our greatest priority.
What is your Cancellation / Refund policy?
Camper cancellations will be given refunds (less a $70 processing fee) up to seven (7) days prior to the Monday of the scheduled camp. There will be no refunds given if you cancel within seven (7) days prior the Monday of the scheduled camp. Campers are able to receive a credit to attend another camp during the summer of 2015, based on availability. Full refunds will be given for medical reasons, provided requests are accompanied by a physician's letter and must be received prior to the first day of camp.
